26th St. Bistro: An elevated Coffee Bean Experience

Happy New Year, everyone! Today, I’m
sharing with you guys my review about 26th St. Bistro’s menu!
For our appetizer, we ordered the Spinach
Dip served with Crostini. The dip is really creamy I’m not sure if it has cream
on it cos in the description they only mentioned several cheeses like
mozarella, parmesan, feta and spinach.
You should really eat it while it’s still
warm to enjoy the mozarellaaaaaa! I might say, for only Php155, this is really
affordable and amazingly good!

So for our main course, we ordered a
sandwich and pesto pasta. We really want to order their 26th Bistro
Burger but unfortunately it was out of stock during that time. So we settled
for some Steak and Cheese as the waitress said it’s one of the “best” in the
sandwich department. So, me being the overly curious person I had to try it.
The waitress asked me if I want my steak “medium well done or well done” so I
chose medium well done to feel the juiciness and flavor of it.

Soooooo goooooood! The thickly sliced USDA
steak is cooked to perfection, the mozarella cheese is melted upon serving, the
button mushrooms were glazed aaand the bread isnt too hard to bite as I was
expecting it to be really tough but the freshness of the panini baguette is
really really a plus point to me! It comes with thick sliced potato fries on
the side.
I asked for an extra shaved parmesan cheese
cause, CHEESE IS LIFE!! Kidding. So calories, here we come!

Who else here is a PESTO lover? I am
encouraging you guys to visit 26th St. Bistro right at this moment!!
I ordered their SOLO as I was riding SOLO this 2018…….
Kidding again! It’s good for two, I
swear.
What’s in the Pasta? Well, it has basil,
pesto with cream, parmesan and grilled chicken breast.
They claim it to be creamy and wow it
really is. It’s very flavorful and tasty so you would want to order some salad
on the side. What I tried before is the Shrimp and Pomelo Salad that brought my
salad experience to a new level. I’m doing a review about it soon, so watch out
for it!
Going back, the grilled chicken has a
“lemon-y” taste to it so I think they marinated the chicken breast with some
salt, pepper and lemon. IDK tho but its very tender and I liked it very much.
Added bonus guys (FOR THE CHEESE LOVERS)
you can add more SHAVED parmesan or mozarella cheese on top just ask the
waitress that you want some chili flakes and added cheese. Say the word SHAVED
or else he/she will bring you the grated one.
